If you gotta have it like yesterday and can't wait, there's a place in Texas http://dallassteeringwheel.com/sk.htm doing it. They'll do your knob too.....wait.....what?

Not in a GOTTA HAVE IT RIGHT now hurry at all. Been needing work since I got the car last year. Was disappointed to hear Bob wasn't able to do them anymore, he had a good rep.

I was stupid enough to actually miss out on a shift knob for $20 ...Was on craigslist with and I saw it and never called him because I didn't have the SVO yet...when I got the SVO it took me a month to remember and now it's gone NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Very sad to hear Bob is not doing well. I wish him the best. I almost had him recover my wheel last year. I'm considering doing it myself and using these guys:

Anyone have any experience? About $40 with shipping plus your own labor.

I'm also probably just going to buy the leather shift knob from foxmustangrestoration.com - not NOS but hopefully it fits/looks OK. Anyone have this one? $30.

That Fox Mustangs knob will require a differant lever as it will be an American thread and the SVO knob is Metric!

Bob is a great friend to many SVO'ers. His work is truly missed! Bob recovered my steering wheel, horn pad, shift knob and e-brake handle. It looked like it rolled off the factory floor! I wish him the very best and hope his health turns around very soon!

Good to Know! Thanks. Does anyone reccomend a leather shift knob that is cheap and relatively "close" to a real NOS one?...and is metric for the svo?

interested in the http://www.dccarcare.com/wsorig.html as well... i think i may be interested in getting an aftermarket stockish steering wheel since most covers make the wheel x2 the original size which i dislike.
