    2015 Sturgis Mustang Rally accommodations

As SMR 2015 comes closer, it's time to reserve a rental if there is enough interest. I talked to Ashley at Executive Lodging today, the house we had last year is already booked. Very nice place, lot's of parking but it was only 4 bedroom.

High Stakes is still available (2012 & 2013) but trailer parking will still be a challenge.

Another option she mentioned for 2015 is Inspiration Point (6 bed, 3 car garage) but more $$

Before we make firm reservations I need to get a confirmed head count.

    So far:
    Tony & Cindy 2
    Mitch Lisa 2
    Doug 1
    Tom B 1

Who else has plans to go this year? Let me know ASAP. The houses are filling up fast...

As of today, here are our only 3 remaining available housing options from Executive Lodging (with garages and w/o gravel roads)

High Stakes Haven - lowest price (repeat customer discount) @$3045 total, $507/night. With 10 people that's $305/person for the week, or $51/night/person.
    1) Trailer parking is tight (on the street), no unhitched trailers allowed.
    2) 5 bedroom (+bed in office), sleeps 16 total
    3) 30 minutes to Sturgis

    Boulder Canyon Lodge - $3843 total, $642/night, with 10 people that's $384/person for the week, or $64/night/person.
    1) Ample trailer parking space (this was Anna's recommendation for our group)
    2) 5 bedroom +queen size Murphy bed in the great room, sleeps 14
    3) Only 8 miles to Sturgis
    http://secure.executive-lodging.com/...lderCanyo.aspx

    Inspiration Point - $4375 total, $729/night, with 10 people that's $437/person for the week, or $73/night/person.

    1) More trailer space than High Stakes, but less than Boulder Canyon
    2) 6 bedroom, sleeps 18
    3) 15 minutes to Sturgis

Please let me know your preferences so we can get our reservations in before they're booked...

Well we know High Stakes Haven & know what to expect. The neighbors were also cool to deal with. But, I am up for a change of scenery. I vote Boulder Canyon for the additional trailer parking & the shorter distance to Sturgis. Of course I will have to run it by Lisa.

I almost forgot, is the garage available for use at Boulder Canyon? That was a huge benefit at High Stakes Haven.

Agreed, the place we had last year was really nice too, but it's already booked.

I would agree it is nice to have the extra trailer parking for loading and unloading at the house for going back and forth to the events. Boulder Canyon seems to have plenty of space for our group too, that is my vote.

Yes, I confirmed the garage is available for our use. Don't know if it is supplied like High Stakes, but we usually have everything we need toolwise covered among the group.

That makes it unanimous. It's Boulder Canyon for 2015! We are reserved for check-in Sept 1, check out on Sept 7.

We have room for more if someone is willing to use the Murphy bed in the great room.

Once we have a final headcount, we'll divide the cost and pay individually directly to Executive Lodging. They have my credit card to hold the reservation.
I'll give it a few more weeks for a few individuals still on the fence to decide.

Thanks for doing the work on this!

Let us know how the room selections will take place. I would assume it will be the same as years past where we had room choice determined by who paid first? As we get closer we should start a list of supplies to bring. That includes tools, cleaning supplies, food, BACON, beer & BACON.

Yes, thanks Doug for making all the arrangements. If there is a way that Stacey, Johnny and I could comfortably share the same room, it would open up additional space for everybody else. Just a thought.
