VIN 1FABP28TXGF113417
According to MARTI there were 108/3382 SVO's with these paint and trim codes produced in 1986
Mostly orig. 86 SVO, 2nd owner 41,000 miles. Motor was replaced under warranty by Ford for first owner.
Car was fully restored to better than factory orig. condition. SVO runs and drives like a new car.
I have all receipts for work performed. I know that I spent more than the asking price.
1. SVO was disassembled and professionally re-painted with DuPont 2A Medium Canyon Red paint
2. All Trim was painted in SVO grey
3. Engine was removed and resealed
4. Clutch and flywheel were both replaced
5. gearbox and rear end oil changed
6. AC converted to R134A
7. Positive battery cable replaced
8. Engine cam cover, inter-cooler and air cleaner refinished and powder coated
9. Wheels refinished and powder coated
10. New Continental DW tires installed less than 200mi
11. Rear brake calipers are new.
12. Jack and spare and wheel locks appear unused.
13. Interior has all the orig. SVO bits. I have a repro owners manual, the orig. Koni-knob, 1986 Mustang literature and sales brochure, MARTI report and Ford Performance group certificate.
Car has appeared in MY FORD magazine, at the Amelia Island Concours Cars and Coffee, and Hemming's motor news.
Asking $15,000
the Hagerty valuation tool lists a no. 2 86 SVO at $14,800. I consider this car to be in better than no. 2 condition
