    Boost gauge swap

    I need some help with my 84, I want to replace my stock boost gauge with an ammeter gauge. I have my cluster out but I don't know how to separate it.

    AFAIK, you will need to replace the cluster circuit thingie to have an ammeter.

    Mike I misspoke, I want to use an auto meter gauge and use the same vac line as the old gauge, so are you referring to how the gauge will be lit?
