I have a rather scattered but large assortment of all-original car pics from shows. Deep in the archives though, and mostly underhood area.

That would great Mike , if you dig them up , for a view. only one left on my car was the three stripes on my front sway bar.

Here are a couple, beyond the normal engine/door stickers.
That’s interesting to see one under the front bumper cover. I know there is not one under the rear one. There do not seem to be many marks or labels but we would have to know where to look.
The wheel valve stem location is so much easier to see. Lol.
The lack of marks is probably due to the use of sticky notes instead of chalk or paint with cars in the 1980s. I worked at Chevrolet in Van Nuys, CA in 1966 and a few of the marks were placed on paper notes and masking taped to the bodies. Not all, but some.
I've seen this factory marking under the paint on several cars.
