interested in buying 85.5 or 86 basically original type SVO

Sue & I have had a case of the SVO blues since we sold our slapper bar 84 a couple of years ago.
We are giving thought to replacing it with a nice 85.5 or 86 so that we can join the insanity club again.
We just missed what looked to be a nice jalapeña red 86 in southern Ca. a couple of weeks ago because we were also looking at the (originally owned by Jon Huber) 85.5 which now resides in Houston.
If any of you know of something for sale, that might fit into the category of what we are looking, for please reply here or PM us.
    Ron & Sue

Am I reading the Vin off of the 1986 SVO in NH right? 1FABP28T3GF253650 with a build date of 6-1986? Must have been one of the last ones out the door.

    Good finds there J. Caraco!

    Ron,

You need to reach out to Pat. He's just up the road from you in Prescott now. He still has about 9 in various states of repair & drivability.
There's nothing more to see here, now move along...

After checking out 85.5 & 86 Svos from Phx. to Seattle and a few places in between, we pulled the trigger on another 1C early 84 with a top mounted picture window. It has a few little mods and upgrades. Most of them are things that made it attractive to us.

    Thanks!
I doubt that I will be doing many more mods. I am pretty happy with it as is for now.
Funny thing, I didn't get two blocks from the POs house when I reached up to make sure the temp lever on the heater was all the way down and it disintegrated in my hand with the slightest touch.
Then I got it to the lake where we are staying and raised the hood to show my wife the engine compartment and the hood refused to lock down...............At that point I was beginning to wonder what the!!!
