I don't think I ever saw a rebuilt one. I was lead to believe there were not rebuildable due to the welded case.

I have used several of these compressors in the past, this was an extra one I purchased from the remanufacturing company. The first one I installed on my daily driver worked fine for~9 years until I sold the car...when the car sold, the A/C was still working fine.

I did not mean to imply there were any issues with them. Actually, might be better as it should be prepped for r134.
