The TC 8.8 swap to a SVO is well documented and so is the issues with fitting the quad shocks. I re-drilled the axle mounting holes lower but still was not happy feeling that the quads were bottoming out and binding the axle. My solution was to find TC style frame mounts and fab some relocation brackets from 2" x 1/4" angle iron. That way I don't need to drill and fish mounting nuts inside the frame rails. This moves the frame mounting points back about 2.5 inches.

The original TC axle mount location now falls in the middle of the of the shocks range and is level at ride height and may work the best. As a added benefit the frame side mount is moved inboard slightly for more tire clearance.
