    Ron Francis PiMP ECU Harness

Does anyone have any experience with this harness that is setup to work with the PiMP ECU? It looks like it gets rid of some unnecessary wiring to help clean things up a bit and should be already pinned correctly for the PiMP ECU. My factory harness is still in good shape, but I have not re-pinned it yet for the new ECU, I am just curious if it is worth the money to get it.

If your harness s in good shape and you want to keep the current stock gauges, then re-pinning the existing harness is the easiest way to go. I was apprehensive of the job because I'm not that electrical inclined, but reading and following the directions that come with the PIMP exactly made it near painless.

I used the knock sensor wires to connect my IAT and mounted it in the lower intake. I hear a lot of guys use the VAM connector and put the IAT between the filter and the turbo.

Re-pinning is easier than it seems.

Thanks for the reply, good to hear that re-pinning the harness is not as scary as it seems.
