    SVO = 0...Cedar tree = 1

    We had a pretty strong wind storm a week ago and...
    Fortunately the tree picked a very rusty donor and not one with a good body, and it missed the good parts.
    I originally bought the car to have a spare set of lights and these were all good and I got a 'free' car with the lights.
    We won't mention who the a/h was that backed into the car and broke the lens.
    Fortunately one of my TF buddies supplied me with a lens to repair it.

    Fortunately it didn't hurt any of the salvageable parts. The car is rusted beyond hope and I only bought it for the lights and spares for my '86 2A.
    The original owner bought it in northern MA and drove it through the winter in NH. When I picked it up it had four steel wheels and snow tires on all four corners.
    Why someone would buy an SVO to drive in the New England winter with all the salt is beyond me...

    Ouch, even though it's a rust-bucket, it's still painful to see a tree on an SVO.

    My SVO is a NY car and not undercoated and you would think it would have typical NY rust but fortunately the original owner vacationed in Fl in the winters and the car was parked. Rust free NY car, doesn't sound right.

    I remember looking at other SVO's in NY when I bought mine and they were undercoated and some driven through the winters and I couldn't figure it out either.

    Just as an example...

    The whole car looks like the underside of the hood.

    Gotta have snowies on all four wheels...lol

    Dayum!! Good thing you weren't out there with it at the time.

    Pour a beer on it to put it out of it's misery.

    The beer is for the car.

    The tree, on the other hand, should be chain-sawed into moveable pieces, then cracked or axed into small enough pieces to be used for firewood. With at least one piece burned right there - at the scene of the crime. Do all of this work in bright daylight so the other trees can see the punishment. take place Let that be a learning lesson for them - touch a car and you will be cut up and burned.

    Be sure to store the ashes in a car or berrel - don't spread them on the ground where the other trees can absorb them. Leave the recycle process open.
