    I've thought about adding a catch can, but I personally would not vent it to atmosphere like how it shows on Stinger's site. I don't understand what any of this would have to do with the ECU, though.

    The stock ECU requires the VAM, the PIMP can allow you to eliminate the VAM. That is where the ECU discussion came in. The catch can came in as a recommendation on Stinger's site when switching over to the PIMP setup.

    I know, I just don't see what eliminating the VAM has to do with it. Stinger's site didn't mention anything about that, unless I missed it. It does say that the PCV system is barely adequate in stock form, which I agree with.

    Yes. Installed it on Thursday, water pump went out yesterday, so no real chance to see if it made any difference.
