Where's the hatch plastic trim interior panel?
    Is the dome light hanging?

They were asking $24,990 for this car in May.

Maybe make an offer at $6K?? Assuming, of course, you might want to buy the car.

Mike, you mean this isn't your dealership? Lol

Does anyone know who did the work on this car? In the video they say the engine and trans were rebuilt. I'm curious how it would end up at a dealership. There was a Hertz SVO at Ford Carlisle 4 or 5 years ago for around 14K.

Good eye with the hatch plastic.

    Don't all SVO's have a front fender/quarter svo badge?

    '84 has a sticker, '86 has a badge.

My 1984, with a production date Nov 1983, did not have any badges or stickers on the front fenders. Ford parts had them (badges) listed in the catalog, but they were not available as of summer 1984.

For that kind of money, lets play a game of find the flaws, & I'm not referring to the hidden flaws that will really hit you hard when you find them...

Can you find all the problems in the engine compartment?
I count six without scrutinizing everything.

I'm not saying these cars were ever perfect, but if you are seeking gold prices, you better be able to justify it.

The dash pad doesn't fit and it's bugging me more than anything else.

You referring to wrinkles in the vinyl at the transition to the passenger side above the temp controls?

I don't know about wrinkles, but I think the entire dash pad is about an inch too high.

I'm not sure where I read that 1984 featured fender stickers, but I've definitely seen a lot of '84s with them. Probably too many to be owner-applied.

I checked the Fox Body Mustang Recognition Guide (book) and found this:

This 1985 SVO has decals on the front fenders. Some "early build" cars were said to have them, as did some press cars.

It is one of the earlier repro dash pads made of urethane. Its like the one in my car but with the help of a dremel tool mine fits perfect.
Ok I give. The only thing I see is the aluminum rad and the yellow oil cap.

    Battery Terminals wrong
    Hood Pad not stock
Wiring Harness routing at the driver shock tower.
The coil cover bulging up as though there is a little extra surprise there.
Wrong hose clamps on the water cooling lines for the turbo.
Hose clamp & hose on the throttle body aren't right.
Same issue with the IC to turbo hose & clamps.
Missing a decal on the core support.

Underneath, the gearbox looks like crap with the aluminum repaint finish on it.

Normally these would not be big issues, but this is also not a normal price.

84 did not have a sticker on the front fender. My car was a late production 5/84. The sticker was used on the rear hatch. There was a running change to the chrome svo emblem on the hatch and mine did have that change.
