On a budget? Give them a bigger time window for pick up and delivery.

You will be money ahead hiring a transport company to do this then it is only a 1 way trip. Just did the math from MPLS round trip would cost $814 in gas alone hauling my alum car trailer w/pickup, oil change $67, time and wear and tear on vehicle only a saint would do this for free. I had my SVO hauled to Tucson AZ for $850 door to door. This is a little less distance, I would be curious what transport companies are quoting you for this job.
