    Studs on Rotors

Just bought my SVO and need to replace the brakes. So I see a lot of high performance replacement rotors without the studs. Looks like I'd need to knock out the original studs or order them and hammer in place, yes? Thanks and sorry if its an obvious question. Kaz

Spray some Pb Blaster it will help knocking them out.

What rotors are you specifically looking at? I have purchased multiple performance rotors over the years, all came with studs already installed.
As for removal replacement, if you can - avoid "hammering" studs in and out. The preferred method would be to push them in/out with a press.
Any automotive machine shop will do it for a minimal fee, probably less than $20.

Thanks. After more careful searching I did find rotors with the hub and studs as an assembly. Thanks for your patience.
