I'm doing some custom interior stuff over the winter, and this is my latest work. This is a Kicker CompRT 6.75" subwoofer in a sealed box with approx. 0.4 cubic feet. The right side has a separate chamber that holds the EQ, two amps, and a temperature triggered cooling fan. I've been told the Premium Sound badge is from an '85-'86 Mk7. I'm not looking to rattle any windows, but this should fill out the bottom end nicely to 40hz or so. It weighs 30 lbs and there are quick disconnects that should allow me to remove it in under a minute. I am going to add metal tabs to the box that will wedge between the back seats and the shock towers, which should keep it in place for spirited driving. The last thing to figure out is a way to secure it in place so it won't be a projectile in a crash. I'll fill in more details if anyone is interested.
