    Proportioning Valve Help Needed

Haven't been on here in a long time and it looks a little bare. Hopefully enough people still lurk around to help.

My issue is that after some troubleshooting, I narrowed down the culprit behind only the front passenger side not getting brake fluid. All the others bled fine (it's always the last one you do that's the problem) the passenger side not so much. Traced the issue to the proportioning valve. Finally got it off and after a few scrubs in my parts washer, and numerous cycles in an ultrasonic cleaner, the internals seem to be stuck and won't come up of the valve body. The good news is that fluid flows through all the orifices now, but not sure the proportioning valve is working right. It doesn't look like the part is made anymore, and I can't get it apart enough for a rebuild kit. So I need help with one of two things (or both).

1- Any hints on getting the internals out of the valve body? They seem to rotate, but that's it. I haven't pulled hard or anything for fear of messing up the parts, but they don't pull out at all.

2- Are there any alternatives from a later model ford product that would work? I'd imagine I'll have to build a bracket to make it mount in the factory location on the inner fender, but that should be pretty easy to solve.

Thanks for any help, I appreciate it.

So I was finally able to get all the guts out of the valve, there was a ton of gunk. I think I managed to not damage any of the seals. Looks like there is a rebuild kit if I need it, but hopefully I don't. I was able to pull it apart after lots of soaking in parts cleaners and ultra-sonic cleaners. Still some gunk I'm struggling to get out, but getting there at least.

If for whatever reason it is bad, anyone know of a potential alternative?

    Thanks

There is a guy on Facebook selling some parts and he does have a proportioning valve. It is used.

These are specific to our SVOs. The rebuild kit is available and I did buy one last year.
