    Wheel Balance

I had the tire shop balance my wheels a second time and the car still has a vibration.

Did you rotate the tires too? That one looks like it should be used in the back to reduce the steering wheel vibrations.

Or, as Arnold would say in Kindergarden Cop: "It's not a tumor."

What is the date code on that tire? Those tires look 15 years old.

Sung to the tune of (Neil Diamond - I Am I Said)

LA's fine the sun shines most the time
I've got cars from way back
On SVO row the tires are low

    But I'm thinkin about
    Dry rot set backs
    http://www.svocop.com/forum/attachme...ntid=679&stc=1

Well I bleed Ford Blue was SCCA rasied
But now a days I'm lost between two chores
SVOOA fine but it ain't home
SVOCOP mine and it is time for sure

    I am I said
    A Ford nut yeah

And no one tells me why
    My tires hold air
    I am I cried
    I am Said I
Now Mark has lost his prime and can not say why
    Leaving it broken still

Mark, that post deserves it's own thread! I may move it somewhere that it gets more attention.

Try buying tires for a dozen cars all in the same year. Tell me how much that costs you.

I already spent $300 in batteries this year.

I'll learn from your experiences. I can only recommend the best bang for your buck when it comes to tires for I've worked at Discount Tire for 5 years before I just recently started my career.

Once bought 6 lots of 10 each of Goodyear Eagles (on 15" Nascar wheels) at an auction -that I didn't bid on !

    Mark
P.S. I didn't know it but Bill had an agreement with the auction company to bid $5 on any lots that didn't get a bid. NO ONE wanted the tires - so they were "put on my bill". I then broke the rules by selling the tires - all but 2 BEFORE leaving the auction.

Gee, Pat what's the big deal? A can of Slime and some extra weights on the other side and that tire is good as new!

Eyelawdoc, that's YOUR tire. I can save it for you if you like.
