Here are my suggestions that I am more than willing to step up to. Call it, "Pay it forward...or would that be backward?"
Prior to the 2013 Knotts show we do a pilgrimage to Bob's place (or where ever the car is) for a couple of days and get that thing ready. I can kill two birds with one stone with this trip. We can get that blue turd ready for the track and show and I'll bring Diana, you can put her to work at the horse stables and get any notion of her wanting a horse out of her system!
Or, a couple of days prior to Knotts, you come down, we setup shop at my place and we get that thing ready for the track and the show. I'm sure we can get plenty of help.
I have the second...make that the first best 2.3t race car. Bob has...had the best one...Bob...when is the last time yours was on the track...lets race for Pinks! I'll be at Buttonwillow in September!

It works, just need more power. Only getting 220ish at the wheels plus some exhaust leak issues. Common Bob...we can get that blue bitch working. I really need to return the favor(s). Just tell me when and where and I'll be there.

OK add another goal for the BB next racing season...NASA Nationals. They are bringing it back to Miller Motorsports Park, which is east of the Rockies. As much as I'd like to go to Mid-Ohio, that's too long of a pull for this guy.
So...MMP will be the venue for 2013 and 2014. We have to get it there and give it a whirl. I may not drive, but the car needs to make it.
Then I'll sell the damn thing and get on with my Bonneville itch!!
