Troy (fastest4d) is undergoing gall bladder surgery at the moment. Please keep him in your prayers.

Should we make this morphine drip his new avatar while he's knocked out?

Had some pretty big complications they could not do laparoscopic. Turns out my gallbladder was tucked behind my liver so they had to open up my whole abdomen. Will be in hospital for another day or two the cut is over 14" long and they had to use a rib spreader so the pain even with the drugs is incredible

Glad you made it through. The next two days will be kinda rough, but after that you'll improve really quickly each day.

Yeah, those chest spreaders leave lasting [mental] impressions.

I can feel it on my bones it is so prominent I don't even pay attention to the 40-50 metal staples holding me together

You got staples? All I got was tape. And safety wires holding the bones together. The bastards!

Wow, speedy recover to you! I had glue for all my back surgeries, and all my gall bladder incisions except the main one, had a couple stitches in that one with the glue.

Nah, he just stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night. The bad part is, he woke up in the bathtub missing a kidney.....
