    I found my Build Sheet!

Well after an exhaustive search, I finally found my build sheet underneath the front driver's carpet. Ugh. Reminds me of a ficticious superhero who was exposed to radiation, only to leave his silhouette on the wall behind!

Sad, its just powder now! I wish Marti offered reprints.

Mark, I shared the interior with 2,500 generations of mice since 1989. I'm sure any other ones are long since shredded by little jaws for a comfy nest or 2,500 by now. In fact I just pulled out the OE carpet tonight and installed an ACC unit. Hated to do it but the original one just stunk!

Pat, that's it. A memory! It turned to dust.

    I will keep looking tho.

Mine fared out a little better!

Pulled back the carpet to see how bad the front seat pan was torn and surprise there was a build sheet in great condition.

pulled the carpet out of my '86, looked like it had never been removed before, and found no trace of a buildsheet. Sigh.....

Found mine on the passenger side rear plastic panel in perfect condition - along with the preceding coupe car in the assembly line. A lot of fun to see all the different codes of the two cars. Two for the price of one.

I can email the scans of my SVO and the coupe to anyone who can post the photos. I'll try to figure out how to do that soon..................

That's where mine was. Original owner found it when he installed rear speakers. Have since gone back to "stock" with no speakers.
