I guess I will start with a story since everyone likes a read..

I bought my SVO after spotting it on Autotrader.com in 2006, I was stationed in Wyoming (USAF) at the time and had my father go and pick it up for me after many emails and phone calls with the seller. The deal was made and it was taken to my fathers house in Ohio. I first saw the car in person right before the SVOCA reunion in 2007... yeah yeah I know. I towed it there and back to storage mainly because I could not get it registered since I was no longer an Ohio resident. I left the car in storage in Ohio from 2007 till Mar 2012 when I returned from Italy.

I have ended up here in California and decided to tow it here from Ohio so that I could do alot of the things that I wanted to do with it since I bought it. In route to getting it here from Ohio the tow dolly tire blew out and the tire tread but a small dent in the passenger side door...dammit!

I have collected alot of NOS parts and nice used parts since 2006 and I am now getting it all together to have a nice driver quality SVO.

This SVO was sold new in Costa Mesa, California at Theodore Robins Ford after being on the lot for almost two years! It left CA in 2001 and was sold to a man in TN and then to a guy in Ohio that i bought it from. I have spoken to the original owner of the car and he told me the car was autocrossed and was his wifes' daily driver. He told me about how well it handled and beat up on some Porsches when he had it. Pretty cool i thought

SVOCA 074.jpg2012-07-23_18-18-11_247.jpg 2007 SVOCA, and one of the engine compartment this year after a long overdue cleaning and painting. The car has a good repaint on it, but they trimmed it in black not gray so it all had to be repainted the correct color. It was missing the side moldings and was all WHITE...I've since got that done too as well as new carpet and mats, dash pad, Bob Tweedy steering wheel and pad, near NOS door panels since someone cut speaker holes in them. The CA sun was not kind to this car at all.

I resprayed the entire interior and removed a dealer installed A/C system since most all of the parts were not there. Brakes have been done and all the tune up items replaced. The 07 GT wheels are temporary as the original ones are at a wheel shop now getting resurfaced..pics to come.

i have the exact same steering wheel mod

looks good! i cant wait to get back from deployment and fix all the small things i left unfinished.

Yeah, it sure did...I seemed to borrow them from other family members! I finally got Texas plates now, wish I had the original Cali plates! Yeah, send some pics if you can, thanks for all the help

Finally got my wheels refinished, took them to a wheel place near Santa Barbara, CA..they ended up sending them to LA to do the work. Came out really well, wishing I could find some NOS centers now!
