    Caster camber plates

I am putting M&M Caster camber plates on my 86. It has no mods in the front other than H&R sport springs and 17" 05 wheels. Do I need an additional bushing to not hit the hood or will the bottom out bummper help? (sounds like its hitting now) Also should I do a bumpsteer kit?

Bruce, I never had to use any bushing for additional clearance for the hood but I guess it all depends how much of the top of the strut it showing..............Bar

    Depends.

After you get the caster set (rough setting) using the CC plates, measure the actual bump steer change (each side). If it's more than 1/2", then definitely need to fix that. if it's between 1/8 and 1/4", maybe. less that 1/8". probably not.

For hood clearance, I needed to drill some clearance holes in the hood bracing to make sure my struts didn't hit.
Enough of that, it was giving me a headache.

My hood is all hacked up already since the throttle on my turned intake stuck on it. (WIDE OPEN) But I would rather not cut it any more if I can avoid it.

    Bruce,

I would recommend get the MM strut bumper to prevent the bottoming out the strut in the housing.
